Hi everyone, I’m Andrea Stefawn Winslow, the founder of Soxyape.

Honestly, I didn’t start this company out of some grand vision. I just noticed a real problem: People are losing the ability to focus on a single thing. Our phone screens constantly interrupt our thoughts.

I wanted to create a product that helps people “disconnect to reconnect” with their own minds.

That’s why, in 2024, I decided to establish Soxyape and focus on Wooden Brain Teasers. They’re the perfect tool: no batteries, no explicit instructions, just you and a problem to solve.

You won’t find Soxyape products in retail chain stores. My decision to sell exclusively through the soxyape.com website is a part of our brand philosophy and logistics:

The Soxyape process began by studying the world’s oldest puzzles, followed by intense design sessions with puzzle experts to create unique, modern variations. Every product is born from the belief that it should be difficult enough to tempt you to quit, yet engaging enough to bring you back.

Our Biggest Challenge

The biggest difficulty wasn’t the design; it was sourcing sustainable wood with absolute precision.

Working with wood is tricky: if the thickness or moisture content is off by even a micron, the pieces won’t fit. We spent months testing various suppliers and cutting processes, discarding hundreds of failed prototypes, just to ensure that when you hold a Soxyape product, you feel the absolute precision required for a true logic puzzle.

2. Precision Cutting: We use advanced machinery for cutting the wood. Accuracy is key.
3. Hand Finishing: Every piece is sanded, smoothed, and polished by hand to achieve a superb tactile feel. We want you to feel respect for the material.

Where Does The Wood Come From?

We use high-quality, sustainably sourced hardwoods (like Maple, Walnut, or Oak).

We partner with certified wood suppliers from Europe (such as Germany and Poland) and Canada, regions known for strict forestry management standards. This ensures that every Wooden Brain Teaser you own challenges your mind while respecting the environment.
